Booking & Accommodation

What types of rooms do you offer?

St Michael’s Lodge offers a range of en-suite rooms suitable for solo travellers, couples, families and groups. Whether you’re walking the Coast to Coast or visiting the Yorkshire Dales, we have comfortable accommodation to suit your needs.

The Church has been transformed into a 17 bed Lodge over 6 En Suite rooms.

Yes. The lodge is ideal for walking groups, cycling clubs, family gatherings and other group stays. Please get in touch to discuss exclusive hire and availability.

Facilities

Is there a kitchen guests can use?

Yes. Guests have access to a fully equipped communal self-catering kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals during their stay.
Yes. We have a dedicated drying room with boot racks, making the lodge ideal for walkers and cyclists in all weather.
Yes. Secure bike storage and a bike maintenance area are available for guests bringing their own bicycles.
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.
Yes. Free on-site parking is available for guests.

Walkers & Cyclists

Is St Michael's Lodge on the Coast to Coast route?

St Michael’s Lodge is just off the Coast to Coast Route. The route runs through Richmond but we offer a shuttle service for those staying with us to get picked up and dropped off at the next leg of their walk.

Absolutely. With secure bike storage, maintenance facilities and drying areas, we’re well equipped for cycling holidays and touring cyclists.

Food & Drink

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast packs are available to purchase when booking your accommodation.

Yes. Hudswell has a welcoming community pub serving food, and Richmond is only a short drive away with a wide selection of cafés, restaurants and pubs.

Yes. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor seating area, BBQs and fire pit during their stay.

Pets & Accessibility

Are dogs welcome?

Yes, selected rooms are dog friendly. Please let us know when booking if you’ll be bringing your dog so we can allocate a suitable room.

The lodge includes accessible facilities and ground-floor accommodation. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking so we can recommend the most suitable room.

Your Stay

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed with your booking confirmation. If you require an earlier arrival or later departure, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

As a self-catering lodge, we recommend bringing any food and drinks you require during your stay, along with suitable walking or cycling equipment if you’re exploring the surrounding countryside.
